Welcome to the world-wide website of Aligned Interventions Educational Services, a company founded on the premise that curriculum alignment; including the written curriculum, instruction, lesson plans, materials/resources, assessment, and state standards, is essential to achieving academic success for all students (particularly those needing intervention). Aligned Interventions provides five strands of educational services that come directly to your school site or neighborhood public facility. These services include educational consultation with data analysis for administrators; professional development for instructional staff; parent training workshops known as our “Parents as Educators Series”; Standards of Learning (SOL) support through state-approved tutoring for students K-12; and test prep for persons taking the SAT, ACT, Praxis I & II, MAT and GRE testing. Our professional development and tutorial sessions are specially designed by A.I.'s Founder and CEO, Roberta Walker, a Virginian educator with over thirty years of experience, previously serving as classroom teacher, international conference speaker, Reading Recovery® teacher trainer, adjunct college instructor, Early Reading Intervention Specialist, Curriculum Writer, and Instructional Specialist.

Our services facilitate the use of each school site’s and each student’s analyzed strand data to provide curriculum, instruction, assessment, and intervention which are deeply aligned to the state’s SOL. At Aligned Interventions our slogan is, "Alignment is not an option, it's the rule!"
